The Norwegian University of Science and Technology, NTNU, is the largest University in Norway and distributed in three University campuses – Trondheim, Ålesund and Gjøvik. Research, education and innovation are lifted and intensified through interdisciplinary collaboration with NTNU’s strategic research areas NTNU Oceans, NTNU Energy, NTNU Health, and NTNU Sustainability. NTNU has an extensive research capacity and track record in maritime disciplines such as ship design, zero-emission technologies, ship navigation systems including autonomy, maritime communication, digital twins, and human-factors in operation. NTNU has also extensive national lab-infrastructures, both small-scale and for sea trials.
