Finnish Shipowners' Association
The Finnish Shipowners' Association safeguards the competitiveness and operating conditions of the Finnish shipping industry through proactive influencing, both nationally and internationally. The association has 26 member companies and their fleets operate in foreign traffic. The association has represented the needs of shipowners in the industrial and labour market since 1917. The Finnish shipowners are at the forefront of technology, and environmental innovations and are strongly part of developing solutions for sustainable shipping.
The Finnish Shipowners' Association has five focus areas:

- Environmental issues;

- Safeguarding competence.
