Established in 2008, GMS is a marine advisory firm for the FSRU/ LNG sector, with over 20+ years of field experience and engagement in multiple EU-funded projects. It has extensive expertise and strong linkages in the sector, providing advisory services to ensure seamless operations and compliance for LNG/FSRU floating terminals.
GMS has collaborated with major industry players, including Hoegh Evi and MOL LNG Transport Ltd. GMS’s core team comprises of Master Mariners and Senior Captains (holding International Ship Port Security (ISPS) training certificates in accordance with the International Maritime Organizations (IMO) security guidelines responsible for the safe and efficient operation of FSRU/LNG vessels, including company policies, cargo operations, navigation, and crew management. Their expertise extends to ensuring the implementation of international regulations, flag state requirements, and internal company policies.
They are proficient and experienced in dealing with ISPS and other security related matters, including but not limited to security risk assessment, ship security assessment, port security, ship security plans (SSP), ships security audits and various aspects of security in ports of the FSRU. GMS team has conducted more than 300 compatibility studies for both LNG carriers and FSRUs, actively participating in compatibility studies for newly established FSRU projects. GMS plays a pivotal role in outlining FSRU security requirements in collaboration with project end-users and partaking in project dissemination and communication within their widespread maritime network.
