Elkon
Elkon is an electrical system integrator in shipbuilding since 1980, to design, manufacture, integrate and commission low-voltage electrical equipment and automation systems for the maritime industry. Elkon is an international & global brand and has a Marine Electric R&D Center and production center in Turkey, but the operation area is the whole of Europe. In line with the demands from Norway to Turkish and foreign shipyards, Elkon has established ElkoNorge AS, which will provide sales and after sales service in Norway.
Elkon is pioneering decarbonization in maritime not only by integrating state of the art technologies, but also contributing to developments of ship electrification which enables emission reduction, aiming at zero-emission waterborne transport as our company's vision.
Elkon carries out intellectual and industrial production with rich human resources. Elkon, which aims producing cutting edge technology for the shipbuilding industry, is working with a team of engineers who have the ability to manage the competition in high-demanding and challenging market conditions. The most experienced names in the sector, international innovation leaders in the field of ship automation and the powerful engineers in the last mile project experience make Elkon a known player in the global arena. Elkon employs 50 engineers (25 of them are design engineers) which equals to 132 thousand hours of engineering service per year, 20 white-collars, 200 installation workers and 30 workshop technicians in Istanbul.
